# Daily 1 a.m. matching setup on Spaceship

The daily job processes only newly queued customer requests. It does not reassign older requests or reset their original dealer assignment times.

In cPanel, open **Cron Jobs** and create a job scheduled for 1:00 a.m. every calendar day in the `America/Toronto` time zone:

```text
Minute: 0
Hour: 1
Day: *
Month: *
Weekday: *
```

Use this command:

```bash
/bin/bash -lc 'source /home/feszouuvxj/nodevenv/beatmycarquote-staging/22/bin/activate && cd /home/feszouuvxj/beatmycarquote-staging && npm run matching:daily >> /home/feszouuvxj/daily-matching.log 2>&1'
```

Confirm the cPanel cron scheduler displays the Toronto/Eastern time zone. If it uses server time instead, convert 1:00 a.m. Toronto time to the server's displayed time and remember that Toronto changes between EST and EDT.

Run `npm run matching:daily` once in the staging application terminal before enabling the schedule. A successful run exits without an error. The enterprise admin screen will then show the resulting assignments.
